Chevrolet plans to show off 24 concept and production vehicles at the upcoming Busan International Motor Show, including the Camaro concept car that is making its first appearance in South Korea.
The car will play the part of the small yellow “Bumblebee” autobot in the next “Transformers” action film.
The South Korean unit of U.S. automaker General Motors, which makes cars under the Chevrolet mark, said Wednesday that it has set aside 2,208 square meters of convention center space to highlight its cars. The motor show will kick off with a media day event on May 29 and run through June 8 at the country’s second-largest city, 453 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
“The timing of the motor show comes three years after GM Korea switched to the Chevrolet badge for all of its vehicles, with the cars to be put on display expected to drive growth for the company down the road,” the company said in a press release.
Aside from the concept cars, Chevrolet will also be displaying many mass production vehicles familiar to consumers, GM Korea said.
