The cases of industrial espionage are growing and Hankyung I-NET, a Korean IT service provider, hopes the government and businesses will strengthen in establishing an industrial security system to protect our core technologies which are the nation’s growth engine. Furthermore, the series of recent industrial espionage cases calls for measures to set up a legal regime and industrial security system to prevent illegal cross-border technology leaks, which damage the nation’s international competitiveness. Software security is a never-ending battle that the technology industry is constantly fighting and security threats and weaknesses know no vertical industry boundaries.
Hankyung I-NET focuses on positioning specific industry or horizontal expertise in telephony, networking, or security. Most country’s internet securities are still very weak, so it is a hothouse environment for nurturing these kinds of businesses. This type of information helps boost tourism, economic development, simplifies navigation and geographical analysis and promotes security. The database industry, its users, and mostly the government are all displaying a growing interest. Hankyung I-NET’s superior technology is our ace in the hole and builds trusted relationships with their partners. CEO Hyo-sik Tae is currently working on several interesting devices and some of them he invents on his own.
He spends so much time in developing a unique design and the company works hard to develop new products. Some of them are: ‘Construction Progress Management System for PPC Implementation’, ‘Efficiency Analysis for Maintenance Management System of Users’ Claims in Building’, ‘A Strategy of Information Management System for Construction Company’, ‘A study on Schedule/Cost Integrated Management System in Building Construction’, ‘A Study on Classification Standard for Efficient Maintenance System of Educational Facilities’, and ‘A Study on the Management System and Improvement of Urban Street Furniture’. It will take a few more years to judge the impact of these ideas. I believe what is needed is fundamental reform with new designs, creativity innovations of the sort that within the present system, despite all the excellent people and energy put into the present system, doesn’t really encourage. Hankyung I-NET is currently working to resolve this issue.
