Psy’s ‘Hangover’ tops 200 mln YouTube views

South Korean rapper Psy’s “Hangover” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, Wednesday, his management agency said.

Released in June last year, “Hangover” hit the milestone at about 3:15 p.m., proving its long-running popularity, according to YG Entertainment.

Psy’s global mega-hit single “Gangnam Style” garnered more than 2.3 billion views and the follow-up single “Gentleman” about 836 million views as of Wednesday. “Hangover” was the most-viewed K-pop music video for 2014 on YouTube.

The “Hangover” video, which was shot in Seoul, depicts South Korea’s drinking culture and nightlife. In the video, Psy and American hip-hop star Snoop Dogg have drinks to cure their hangovers and visit some late-night hangouts such as a karaoke room, a convenience store and a billiard hall.
