Hollywood blockbuster movie ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has surpassed 6 million viewers in South Korea and is now going to be released and reedited specially to a 4DX version.
The special 4DX version of two characters, Hulk and Iron Man of ‘Avengers 2’ are showed at CGV 4DX screen from May 6, according to the CJ CGV’s subsidiary company CJ 4DPLEX. This special version is attempted for the first time ever and will emphasize the original characters’ characteristics.
CJ 4DPLEX’s marketing manager Choi Yeon-chul said “Ticket sales of Avengers2 4DX version has surpassed 80% in domestic and global theaters. Therefore, it is expected to screen Avengers 2 special version in Japan and China so that Avengers manias are able to experience a new sense of immersion.”
Various events will be running to celebrate the ‘Avengers 2’ special version screening. Avengers character notes and soft drinks will be offered and quality character figurines as a door prize to ‘Gift Time’ viewers in CGV Yeoyido and CGV Yongsan on May 9. Also, official Marvel’s character items will be provided to the winner who writes the most impressive comment about the special version on CGV‘s Facebook page. Facebook events will be opened after the release date of the special version, which is on May 6.
