Nexon announced on the 9th that it has signed a Chinese publishing contract for its new work “First Bursker: Kazan” being developed by its subsidiary Neople with Tencent Games.
Tencent Games plans to provide ‘Kazan’ as a PC platform in the region based on its experience of successfully settling ‘Dungeon & Fighter’ and ‘Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’ in the Chinese market.
Neople collaborates with Tencent Games to carry out localization work so that it can faithfully deliver the gameability of “Kazan” to Chinese market users.
Chinese users can add “Kazan” to their wish list on Tencent Games’ distribution platform WeGame, and the local service name and launch schedule will be revealed later.
Yoon Myung-jin, CEO of Neople, said, “Based on the know-how the two companies have accumulated over a long period of time, we will try to show the unique game and action of ‘Kazan’ in China.”
“First Bursker: Kazan” is a new work under development based on Nexon’s flagship intellectual property (IP) “Dungeon & Fighter” worldview, featuring sophisticated actions and 3D animation-style graphics.
Nexon has demonstrated games at Europe’s largest game show Gamescom and domestic game show G-STAR this year ahead of the launch of Kazan in the first half of next year.
