| Epik High to launch concert tour in North America (YG Entertainment) |
Hip-hop group Epik High will hold its North American concert tour in May and June.
Under the title “Epik High 2015 North American Tour,” the three-member group will head to six cities in the U.S. and Canada, its agency YG Entertainment announced Thursday, April. 9.
The tour will kick off on May 28 in San Francisco and continue in Los Angeles on May 29; Vancouver on May 31; Dallas on June 5; New York on June 12; and Toronto on June 14.
Prior to the American tour, the three-member group will embark on concerts in Manila, Philippines on May 18; Hong Kong on May 19; and eight Japanese cities.
Epik High last held a concert in America six years ago.
“The 2009 American tour was a sold-out concert and the latest album ‘Shoebox’ ranked second and seventh on iTunes charts in Canada and the U.S., respectively,” said a YG official, who believes the upcoming American tour will be a massive hit.
