Starbucks Introduces, Operates Hybrid Working System, Warns Of Firing For Non-compliance With Office Work 3 Days A Week From 2025

Starbucks, the world’s largest coffee shop, has warned that it could fire office workers who don’t follow its three-day work week policy starting next year.

In an internal message to employees, Starbucks said a “responsibility process” will begin in January next year to hold employees accountable for not complying with office work three days a week, according to the Guardian on Tuesday local time.

Starbucks said it would face a risk of being fired if it failed to comply with hybrid work requirements that set it at work three days a week.

Since January last year, Starbucks has introduced and operated a hybrid working system, including three-day work weeks.

Starbucks said CEO Brian Nicholl will also work in an office that exceeds or meets hybrid working requirements.

CEO Nicole, who has led Starbucks since September last year, now commutes from her home in Newport Beach, California, to her headquarters in Seattle, Washington, three times a week on company jets.
