Last year, the price of eating out in the United States rose 5.2% year-on-year. McDonald’s has also pushed ahead with its price increase policy amid rising prices of eating out. The high price of McDonald’s products has recently made headlines on social media several times. A McDonald’s in Connecticut sold a Big Mac for $18 and sparked controversy on TikTok. It was also sold for $3 for a single hash brown in some parts of the United States.

As a result, fewer and fewer customers are visiting McDonald’s. Chris Kempczinski, CEO of McDonald’s, said that some McDonald’s menus, which have been increasing their prices repeatedly, are expected to see price declines. He is known to have promised to provide consumers with reasonable prices for food. However, Kempczinski, who predicted price declines, did not mention the timing or scale of the price cuts.
