The boy group “Zero Base One” proved its high popularity.

According to Wake One and Hyundai Department Store on Aug. 6, Zero Base One achieved sales of about W1.35 billion at the pop-up store held at Hyundai Department Store in Seoul’s Yeongdeungpo district from Aug. 10 to Aug. 23 last year. The figure is the highest among the pop-up store sales of the Hyundai Department Store’s youth team in 2023.

Earlier, Hyundai Department Store’s Hyundai Seoul branch held a “K-Culture Relay Pop-up” to mark the year of visiting Korea 2023-2024 last year. Various brands that lead Korean cultural trends, including Zero Base One, participated in the pop-up at the same time.

In particular, the Zero Base One pop-up not only attracted many fans even before the opening, but also made people realize its popularity as the prepared goods were sold out in an instant. An industry official said, “Zero Base One is a group formed by the choice of fans from 184 countries and regions around the world through Mnet’s Boys Planet,” and explained, “As it boasts an overwhelming scale of domestic and foreign fandom, it seems that the ripple effect has been proportional to pop-up sales.”

Zero Base One became a “double million seller” for two consecutive albums with its debut album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE” released in July last year and its second mini album “MELTING POINT” released in November.
