Actor Lee Sun-kyun (48) and singer G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong, 35), who were caught up in the suspicion of drug administration, faced a mixed situation. According to the police on the 13th (local time), the drug crime investigation department of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency will not send G-Dragon without charges. G-Dragon was booked by the police in October on drug administration charges and has been under investigation. When the news of the arrest was announced, G-Dragon appealed for innocence several times through his lawyer, and voluntarily appeared at the police for investigation.

Lee Sun-kyun is accused of administering drugs several times at the home of A, the head of the entertainment establishment in Gangnam, Seoul, known as the top 1% membership room salon, and has sued A, the head of the entertainment establishment in Gangnam, who was involved in the incident, on charges of blackmail and intimidation. Lee, the head of the female office, is considered one of the key figures in the drug scandal and has already been arrested on charges of drug administration.

The police said, “It is not a separate case where (Lee Sun-kyun) sued for blackmail, saying he was accused of taking drugs,” adding, “The truth of the blackmail case must be clarified to some extent to judge the credibility of the statement of reference to drug charges.”
He also mentioned the possibility of a third summons, saying, “We are currently speeding up the investigation, and if the case is materialized by further investigation, we will review the summoning of Lee Sun-kyun again.”
