Hollywood actor Matthew Perry, known for his role as Chandler in the sitcom Friends, has died.

According to the LA Times, Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on the 28th (local time). It is known that an assistant who went on an errand found him in the bathtub of his home unconscious around 4 p.m. that day. He was 54. The exact cause of death is still under investigation, but no circumstances of murder or drug use have been found. Warner Bros. TV said, “We are devastated by the death of our beloved friend Matthew Perry. Today is a heartbreaking day and we express our condolences to his family, loved ones and fans.” Perry, meanwhile, has long suffered from alcohol and drug addiction.
