◇ Fold 5, reduced thickness and weight
In the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the thickness is the thinnest among the Fold series. It was effective that the size of the hinge that serves as a hinge in the folding part of the screen and the flex hinge were applied instead of the existing U-shaped hinge to eliminate the gap on the screen. The latest parts were applied so that the two screens could face each other as much as possible. When folded, the thickness decreased by 2.4mm from the previous maximum of 15.8mm to 13.4mm. The weight also decreased by 10 grams from 263 grams to 253 grams.
