Daelim to woo residents to Hwaseong complex

Daelim Industrial, a leading construction company here, will begin sales of apartments in its latest ePyunhansesang complex, dubbed the “ePyunhansesang Hwaseong” next month, located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

EPyunhansesang ― roughly meaning “a comfortable world” in Korean ― is the builder’s flagship housing brand.

The complex will offer 1,387 apartments ranging from 59-84 square meters in 12 buildings, each with 29 stories including one lower ground floor.

These will make up about a sixth of the 8,000 apartments by major housing brands to be built in the Banwol area. The complex has easy access to transportation and amenities and high-tech, environmentally friendly systems.

To maximize air conditioning and heating efficiency, the company said it applied a patented energy-saving system that prevents potential thermal bridge and condensation.

LED automatic control systems in underground parking lots will also help save energy and cut maintenance costs, executives said.

To curb the noise levels in each apartment, the company used thicker sound insulation materials. For the common areas within the complex, eco-friendly materials were used.

Daelim Industrial said it believes ePyunhansesang Hwaseong would be a good residential option for some 200,000 employees working at nearby companies such as Samsung Electronics’ Hwaseong plant and industrial complex Gwanggyo Techno Valley.

The new apartments boast easy access to metropolitan transportation network via highways linking Seoul to Yongin and Dongtan to Suwon. Also, Seoul’s subway Line No. 1 and the Bundang Line can be reached within five minutes by car.

The first residents will be able to move into the apartments in January 2017. A model house will open in Banwol-dong in Hwaseong shortly, Daelim said.
