South Korean pop group Girls’ Generation will hold a concert in Tokyo to mark the fourth year of its debut in Japan, the group’s agency said Monday.
The concert titled “The Best Live at Tokyo Dome” will be held on Dec. 9 at Tokyo Dome, the first time for the group to hold a solo concert in the venue, S.M. Entertainment said.
During the concert, the group will present the best of its hit songs and tracks from its latest album.
Ahead of the event, the band uploaded a special video that compiled its Japanese-debuting showcase, other performances in Japan and interviews with each member.
Last month, Girls’ Generation topped Japan’s Oricon weekly albums chart for the second week in a row, a record for a South Korean pop group, for its first compilation album released in Japan. (Yonhap)
