The course of Korean Air

Korean Air is Korea’s largest airline, operating on routes around the world, and the second chairman died after the founder and the third Wontae cho is in charge. In the process, he also caused a management dispute with his younger sister. And Asiana, the two largest Korean airlines, has merged to reign as an absolute Korean airline. As the daughter of the airline’s manager, she caused power abuse, such as ordering the return of her airline, and gained disgrace. In addition, the wife of the 2nd president apologized to the public for being exposed for using the company’s funds for individuals and showing her personality of treating employees recklessly.Although it may have been difficult due to the fendemic situation, it is trying to buy back the business rights that were sold and accumulated funds through cargo transportation. The existing founder originally started the business from freight transportation and started Hanjin Shipping. It currently owns a skyscraper and a hotel in LA.
However, Korean Air announced on the 24th that it has renewed its CEIV Pharma qualification of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).CEIV Pharma (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators Pharma) is an international standard certification that certifies the expertise of drug carriers.
Global transportation experts evaluate 280 items, including drug transportation procedures, storage facilities, equipment and regulations, and issue certificates, and must pass the re-certification review every three years to maintain their qualifications.

Korean Air, which acquired CEIV Pharma certification in 2019, formed a task force to renew certification from February this year and passed the review of IATA expert committee members after five months of preparation.Korean Air said it is transporting cargo by maintaining the optimum temperature required for each item in the entire transportation process, such as “Specialized-PHARMA” for transporting medicines such as vaccines, experimental reagents, and serum, and “Specialized-FRESH” for fresh cargo such as flowers, marine products, and fruits.

It also explained that through joint investment with Incheon International Airport Corporation, a Cool Cargo Center (CARGO Center) was opened at the mooring of the second passenger terminal in September last year to minimize the time and movement of air cargo to the outside.

An official from Korean Air said, “Through this certification renewal, we have proven our expertise in drug transportation in the global market and the best service quality,” adding, “We expect to improve customer service quality and further strengthen our competitive edge in the international air cargo market.”
