A fire broke out in a lawyer’s office building

A fire broke out in a lawyer’s office building near the Daegu District Court in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, killing seven people and injuring 46 others.

According to the Daegu Fire Safety Headquarters on the 9th, a fire broke out at around 10:55 a.m. in the lawyer’s office on the second floor of a seven-story building behind the court in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu.

At the time of the fire, 119 received a report that “black smoke was seen from the second floor of the building and an explosion was heard,” and the fire authorities put in 64 vehicles and 160 people to extinguish the fire in 22 minutes.

So far, seven deaths, including five men and two women, and 46 minor injuries are estimated to have been caused by inhaling smoke.

The deaths were reportedly all in an office on the second floor of a seven-story building. The fire authorities plan to conduct a second round of detailed search for lives when the site is cleared.

The police are investigating the possibility of arson by sending a forensic team to the scene. What is now revealed is that an evil-minded client of the lawyer’s defense was arson.
