Rising K-pop boy group, GOT7, revealed they attend sex ed once a month during SBS radio program “K.Will’s Young Street” on Wednesday.
JYP Entertainment is the management agency for GOT7 and has many other groups and K-pop singers such as 2PM, Miss A, 2AM and 15&. According to its policy, trainees receive education on various topics including sex.
“Don’t (trainees) of JYP Entertainment have sex education?” the emcee of the show asked GOT7.
The group of young singers confirmed their agency’s policy and described their experiences.
“We had monthly sex education. When we were trainees Goo Sung-ae (South Korea’s most popular sex educator) personally came down to teach us. About sex and ethics, we are very clean,” group leader JB said. But he did not elaborate on what exactly he meant by “clean.”
Thai member of the group, Bam Bam, witnessed JYP Entertainment’s scrupulous care. According to the singer, members were treated with oriental medicine and played basketball with their producer Park Jin-young to grow taller.
GOT7 is currently active promoting the title track off its second mini album “A.”
