Tokai-Electronics Co., Ltd, based in Nagoya in Japan, is an electronics and technology trading company that offers one-stop solutions for customer’s needs. There are 355 employees in the group, 22 Subsidiaries, eight of which are in Japan and fourteen of which are overseas worldwide. It has about 1,000 units as its worldwide users, with sales of 37,800 million yen last year.
As a specialized trading company which conducts trade deals in electronics, material and technology, Tokai is mainly specialized in development, sales, import and export of electronic devices, semiconductor devices and high-performance materials. Currently, it is focusing on the following five domains: Environment & Energy, Medical, Internet of Things (IoT), Automotive, Software. At the same time, the company has a competence not only to develop and sell computer and microcomputer applied systems but also to design, develop and sell software such as Firmware to move the hardware is available. 
The company powerfully responds to the growth in the electronics market. It aims to be instrumental in delivering new technologies to an ever-expanding world market. However, the company was faced with the question of how to work with people of various regions, legal systems, religions and nationalities: people with different value systems. Tokai realized that it has to find common ground with all these people.
Tokai-Electronics plans to join efforts with Los Angeles Times Asia Journal to meet new business demands, experiencing a reportedly drop in sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tokai-Electronics wants LA Times Asia Journal to introduce Korea’s promising small and medium-sized enterprises and their products which were reported in the newspaper. In collaboration with LA Times Asia Journal which is trying to revive the East Asian business market, Tokai-Electronics is expected to expand its business while at the same time sharing with its global workforce a range of values with local communities.
