PIH Health, a nonprofit regional healthcare delivery network that was founded in 1959 by volunteers who went door-to-door with coffee cans to raise funds, opened an Urgent Care Center at the PIH Health in Hacienda Heights on Saturday, September 21. The new urgent care center provides prompt medical service to patients with illness or injuries without an appointment. They have extended weekday and weekend hours that make it easier to get treatment when people do not have a primary care physician but need access to prompt medical treatment. |
