VR Carver promotes their Racing Sports VR technology

PCs, TVs, and smart phones are usually easily accessible from our surroundings. These devices are typically the source of convenient entertainment. Excessive use, however, may be detrimental to health. Straight Neck Syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome and cervical spine herniated disc caused by long time PC and smartphone use can cause severe physical damage and decrease exercise capacity. In addition, you may have problems such as game addiction, violence, and lack of social skills. Of course, electronic devices  are not all bad; they can provide a lot of valuable information. Work processing ability is also much more efficient, and it is good to use at a desired time and place. As such, these gadgets and other machines are double-edged swords. Korea’s VR Carver is a specialist in haptic devices for VR sports games. They developed sports game contents using VR by focusing on the part where a lot of people fell into the game and moved away. VR Carver has world-class source technologies specializing in the field of experience-based simulators. By utilizing this source technology, they are developing a haptic simulator for various racing sports and other such products. Their source technology is ‘the trek belt system’. The existing VR sports games only allow for movement up and down and other two sides, but the trek belt system uses a slip-turn technology that makes you feel the thrill of racing sports. You can enjoy bobsleigh luge, skiing, or even cycling as if you were doing these activities in real life. Users will have the advantage of being able to enjoy sports that they are interested, but difficult to play on their own.

VR Carver will provide the core technology ‘trek belt system’ in a modular fashion, as it plans to provide the formulations and sports content they want as platform types for many people. The company is planning a platform-type business so that other companies and developers can provide various online activities and games.

VR Carver’s CEO Too Hwan Kang said, “We plan to participate in domestic and overseas exhibitions based on our own Racing Sports VR technology, and we will show it off by having people experience it. We will continue to provide virtual reality theme parks and arcade experience zone operators. We will also make efforts for people to enjoy the virtual experience in life by increasing the VR experience zone into a public sports facility. Through the branch office in San Francisco, a part of Silicon Valley, USA, We will carry out these plans in earnest.”

‘VR Carver’ has signed a formal contract to produce and sell modules in China with ‘Funin VR’, China’s first VR simulator development and manufacturer.

In addition, VR Carver and Funin VR will establish a joint R & D company in China and will continue to develop technology, and will be co-marketing in Korea with China Funin VR. The two companies have also concluded an agreement to cooperate in various projects aimed at the coming 2022 Beijing Olympic Games.
