Water is the main source of all life and a primary component of all living things. Without question, no life can exist without water. It is necessary to think of water as an indispensable element in our lives, and we should start considering if the water we use is both clean and safe of contamination. Unbeknownst to most people, the tap water we use daily contains a fair amount of chlorine; this is because chlorine is used in the water sterilization process. Many countries such as Korea and the United States utilize chlorine because they perform rapid filtration. The raw source of tap water in the U.S. contains about 2,000 to 3,000 types of organic matter. Regulating what goes into our water is not an easy task which is why chlorine has been deemed a necessity for sterilization despite its harmful effects on the human body. If raw water is severely contaminated with organic matter in tap water, a chemical reaction occurs with chlorine, leading to both rectal and bladder cancer.
Continuous use of tap water containing chlorine can lead to the following issues as well: skin roughness, skin aging, atopy, skin cancer, itching, hair loss, eczema, and more. Also if it comes in contact with the eyes and skin, cancer in those areas of our bodies is a definite possibility. The American Chemical Society states, “Showering in water containing toxic substances is more harmful than drinking it.” Additionally, Professor Andermann of the University of Pittsburgh claims, “Contaminants absorbed by the skin is equivalent to drinking one liter of unclean water.” These findings indicate the importance of being weary of what comes in contact with our bodies.
Luckily for us, a manufacturer of water filters, Shinwoo Korea, has developed a tap water filter called “Vita Rain” to solve these pressing issues. The “Vita Rain” shower filter is installed in our home’s bathrooms to remove 99.9% of residual chlorine from the tap water used for washing. As a result of the test, it was confirmed that the residual chlorine in tap water, which was 0.26m/L before use, was not detected after using the “Vita Rain” shower filter. Additionally, the filter contains over 1,500 lemon vitamins. Vitamin C improves spots and freckles while also containing antioxidant properties such as anti-aging of the skin. On top of that, six kinds of incense including lavender, rose, lemon, and pine needles have also been applied so users can experience aromatherapy in the shower.
With all these health risks when it comes to using contaminated water, people should begin to rely on filters to ensure a lifestyle of cleanliness. Why not experience that and a relaxing shower to clear up any previous fatigue with Shinwoo Korea’s “Vita Rain”?
