Language is a powerful tool when it comes to communication and educating oneself about different cultures. The benefits of learning a new language include more opportunities to meet new people, a stronger chance of being employed, being able to communicate while traveling, a boost in creativity, and more self-confidence. People are starting to realize that learning other languages is a vital skill in both education and the work force. Acquiring a second language can improve memory and increase one’s overall attention span. Becoming bilingual challenges your brain to concentrate, which ultimately boosts your problem-solving skills. This is why online language education programs have become an essential for many when it comes to learning a new language of interest.
South Korean company, DM Edu, has created a new smartphone application called ‘AniLingo’ that allows users to not only learn a new language, but educate themselves on the culture behind it. Because English is a universal language, people can get the most use out of this app by learning English. AniLingo helps users study everything from basic English words to speaking, grammar, and even current affairs for free. Users choose from 13,000 words to study; these words apply to SAT-level tests such as TOEIC. DM Edu claims that users can now start to dream in English due to the application’s practicality. It is guaranteed to have anyone speak about 1,000 conversational sentences and enhance overall speaking skills.
Certain users have left positive reviews about AniLingo, claiming that it was helpful in terms of memorizing words and sentences. Users also praise the fact that they can take their online education on-the-go. The app is compatible with nearly any smartphone device, including iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Outside of a classroom or a corporate office, anyone can find learning a second language useful. Language has always been an essential key to communicating with people from across the globe. Encouraging someone to learn a new language is encouraging a merging of different cultures.
