In “My New Sassy Girl,” Cha plays an ordinary but somewhat clueless job hunter Gyeon-woo, who is dumped by his girlfriend, played by Victoria. Gyeon-woo works as a part-time cab driver to make ends meet, but without a reliable job he struggles in his romantic life as well.

The upcoming film has come under spotlight in the two countries, as it is the debut film for the Chinese K-pop singer. (Yonhap)
