Because of SNS, a cleaner in Bangkok became a cosmetic model

A single mom in her 20s who was cleaning the streets of Bangkok became a famous model in an instant with a video posted on social media. The reason why she became a cosmetics model is literally a drama.

The online media Oddity Central reported on the 4th that “it is one of the cases in which life was completely changed by accident,” introducing in detail the miraculous story that happened to Lupajitmin.

Until last month, Min used to wear cleaning clothes. While cleaning the street, he said, “I was amazed by the beauty of Kazakhstan photographer Semyon Rezczykob.” Rezczykob filmed the scene with his cellphone and posted it on his social media TikTok, and the video spread quickly.

Rezchikob is a street photography creator who takes pictures of all citizens of the city and uploads them on YouTube and TikTok. His YouTube has 5.67 million subscribers and 1.4 million TikTok followers. As people’s interest increased, Min was asked to appear on the show and contacted by several modeling agencies. In an interview with Thai media, he said, “I am living hard day by day with pride in my job as a cleaner. I never expected such interest,” he said.

This is not the end of Min’s story. Famous Thai makeup artist Chatchai Pianpapichat offered him a free makeover, and Min became a character in the Thai horror film “The Devil’s Art 2” and received explosive responses again.

Since then, Min has been selected as a cosmetic brand model for Nongchat and is set to collaborate with various brands and marketing companies.

Things that happened to happen to meet a noble like Min are happening in many countries around the world. A Nigerian youth named Ali Olakunmi became a fashion model after living under a bridge, and Malisha Karwa, a girl who lived in a makeshift tent in a slum in India, met an American TV star and became a model. Rita Gabiola of the Philippines was also a model with a picture of herself begging on the street.
