Luxury fashion brand Dior will open its largest Asian flagship store in Seoul next month, with construction nearing completion.
The resplendent white architecture is designed by famed French architect Christian de Portzamparc ― known for his modern, luxurious designs ― and interiors are being overseen by Peter Marino.
The six-story Dior Seoul Boutique will contain a fifth-floor cafe by the French macaron connoisseur Pierre Herme.
Two floors in the new Dior store will be dedicated to menswear.
The remaining floors will be devoted to women’s accessories, women’s ready-to-wear apparel and shoes, and fine jewelry and watches.
The French luxury brand recently launched a limited-edition handbag and accessories range to celebrate its Seoul store opening.
The Dior flagship store in Cheongdam-dong, an affluent shopping district in Seoul, will open its doors on June 20.
Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH, which owns Dior and other luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, will visit Korea in time for the opening, industry sources here said.
