Michelle Obama Shares ‘Life View’ With Her Brother Robinson On Podcast

Former President Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, will start a new podcast, “IMO (In My Opinion)”, with her brother Craig Robinson from the 12th.

“There’s so much going on in the world, and we’re having a complicated and chaotic time,” Mrs. Obama said on Instagram on the 10th. “I’ll share life questions with special guests (at IMO).” About Robinson, who is currently the executive director of the National Basketball Coaches Association, he explained, “I rely on him whenever I have a problem, and he helps me get through anything with insight, wisdom and humor.”

“IMO,” which is released every Wednesday on YouTube and major podcast platforms, deals with a wide range of topics with special guests in the entertainment, sports, health and business sectors. The first episode features Obama’s refusal to support her husband’s presidential bid and introducing the series by sharing his personal history, including Robinson’s divorce. The second episode will feature famous actors such as actor director Ray and filmmaker Seth Logan.

The podcast will be produced by Higher Ground, a media production company founded by the Obamas in 2018. Higher Ground produced the Michelle Obama Podcast in 2020 and also introduced films and TV programs such as American Factory, which won the Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary in 2020.

“The Obamas have become new media giants after leaving the White House,” said Axios, an Internet media outlet. “The cultural and political influence of the Obamas is in stark contrast to those of the Democratic Party who are rushing after losing the presidential election last year.”
