Korean documentary film “My Love, Don’t Cross That River” will be screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival next month.
The film will be screened in the Documentary section at the 21st annual festival, according to the official lineup.

“My Love, Don’t Cross That River” was released last November and watched by 4.8 million theatergoers in Korea. The 86-minute film — directed by Jin Mo-young — follows the lives of an elderly married couple who are still in love with each other after 76 years of marriage.
Another Korean drama, “A Midsummer’s Fantasia,” will also compete in the World Fiction category at the festival. Directed by Jang Kun-jae, the feature portrays the encounter between a local guide and female Korean visitor to a rural Japanese town.
Last year, “Snowpiercer,” directed by Bong Joon-ho, became the first Korean film to open the Los Angeles Film Festival. Director Bong and actors Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, Song Kang-ho and Go Ah-sung attended the event.
