Starlink Offers Satellite Wi-Fi to United Airlines Routes

It is known that United Airlines of the United States will be the first airline to launch Starlink’s satellite Internet service as early as this spring.

USA Today reported that United will advance its plans to test-run Starlink Wi-Fi next month and will serve key routes by the end of the year, ultimately expanding it to all flights.

United said it will be able to provide Starlink internet starting with its Engbraer E-175 model, adding that it will be able to use fast and reliable uninterrupted Wi-Fi services for free in the future.

Streaming, shopping, and games will be available on board, and the Internet will be available as a screen in the seat or as a personal device.

In order to access, we have decided to be a Mileage Plus member of United, which is free to sign up.

MileagePlus CEO Richard Nunn said the company is focused on delivering Starlink services as early as possible.

Starlink, a satellite network company operated by Elon Musk’s space exploration company SpaceX, has signed a deal with Hawaiian Airlines and JSX to provide in-flight satellite internet as well as United.

CNN Business analyzed that the plan to provide in-flight satellite Internet services shows that Musk is expanding his scope outside of IT in the U.S. economy by mobilizing enormous wealth with his affiliates.
