Users will be able to unlock and control the vehicle with the Apple Watch in the future.
According to TechCrunch and other foreign media on Monday (local time), Tesla will launch an Apple Watch app this month. The app enables users to use the Apple Watch as a digital key for their cars, changing the functions of their smartphone app. Users can unlock or unlock the car, open the trunk, check the battery condition, and adjust the temperature inside the car with the Apple Watch app.
In the meantime, Tesla vehicle drivers have had to use apps from other companies such as Watch for Tesla to take advantage of these features. In response, Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded positively in March to the question, “Can you develop an app for Apple Watch?”
Some netizens welcome the news. Netizens responded by saying, “You will not have to carry your car except when you leave it for repair in the future,” “It will be useful when your cell phone battery runs out,” “I’m glad that a dedicated app came out because I was reluctant to provide passwords to other companies’ apps,” and “Tesla’s hip image has become stronger.”
