Audrey Magazine is bringing together the Asian American and fashion communities for an evening of glamour and entertainment at Audrey Fashion Show 2015. Fashion expert and television host Jeannie Mai of “The Real” will host the event, which takes place Saturday, Mar. 28, at urban warehouse and art venue 440 Seaton in the downtown LA Arts District. The runway will showcase summer collections curated by trendsetting retailer and designer Jeannie Lee of SatineBoutique, along with live music performances and appearances by some of entertainment and fashion’s most recognizable social media personalities.
Satine Boutique’s Jeannie Lee made a name for herself by pioneering the “high-low” retail concept, stocking an exceptional mix of established luxury brands and fresh, independent designers that made her West Hollywood shop a must-visit shopping destination amongst A-list celebrities, editors, and stylists. Lee’s selected lineup of designers for this year’s runway includes: Sechung, JACHS NY, AND B, Sachin and Babi, Eleven Paris, Swimwear Becca By Rebecca Virtue, and Cult Gaia.
Guests will enjoy performances by indie folk-rock outfit Run River North, who made a surprise appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“; The Filharmonic of NBC‘s acappella program “The Sing-Off“; champion beat boxer KRNFX; and dancer-choreographer Mike Song of “America’s Best Dance Crew“. Song and KRNFX as a duo have been featured on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and at the “Red Bull BC One Championships“.
James Kyson Lee (“Heroes“, “Justified“), Malese Jow (“The Flash“, “The Vampire Diaries“), Lindsay Price (“Major Crimes“, “Eastwick“), and singer-songwriter Dia Frampton (runner-up on NBC’s “The Voice“) are among the celebrities, artists, creators, and influences who will be in attendance.
Other guests include some of the Internet’s most widely followed fashion and makeup bloggers – Eugénie Grey, Francis Lola, Tommy Lei, Fritzie Torres, Emily Mei, Denise Gen, Peter Adrian Sudarso – who have transformed their social media influence into unique brands.
