‘Happy Hour Canapé Buffet’ at The Plaza Hotel Seoul

The Lounge, The Plaza Hotel Seoul’s stylish café & bar located on the lobby floor, is presenting a happy hour promotion with a full canapé buffet and unlimited beverages. Drinks consist of Southern French specialty wine Le Benjamin de Puech-Haut, Scotch whisky Ballantine’s, draft beers and more. A buffet with over 15 kinds of canapés and finger foods will be available, including assorted cheese sticks, Caesar salad, smoked salmon avocado rolls, grilled beef tenderloin skewers, chicken barbecue, calamari, grilled sausages and chocolate desserts. ‘Fresh Oyster Festival’ at Grand Ambassador Seoul

Hotel Grand Ambassador Seoul’s international dining restaurant Café de Chef is hosting an oyster festival with fresh seasonal oysters prepared in a variety of different dishes. The oyster lunch set is served with a salad buffet and one main dish choice of oyster pasta, beefsteak with deep-fried oysters, or a fish dish with oyster cream sauce. The oyster dinner special set consists of six courses including oyster cream soup, salad, beef tenderloin medallion, oyster risotto, and beefsteak in pastry filled with oysters and mushrooms. Single course meals such as ceviche-style oysters, oyster gratin, and grilled oysters are also available. The festival lasts until Feb. 28. New Year’s room sales at all Hyatt hotels

‘Gourmet Discovery Promotion’ at Lotte Hotel Seoul

The five restaurants at Lotte Hotel Seoul are hosting a “Gourmet Discovery Promotion” from Jan. 19 through Feb. 22. Special lunch and dinner courses will be offered at a maximum discount of 50 percent to 20 guests per restaurant per mealtime, allowing a total of 200 guests to enjoy the promotion daily. Peninsula’s six-course menu includes homemade spinach tagliatelle and braised lamb while Toh Lim offers a seven-course Chinese menu with Buddha Jumps over the Wall and dim sum. Momoyama will serve a five-course menu of assorted sashimi and sushi. Mugunghwa’s eight-course menu features Korean dishes reinterpreted with a modern twist, such as sautéed lobster and grilled sirloin. Prices range from 90,000 to 105,000 won. ‘Winter Romance Love Package’ at The Westin Chosun Seoul

The Westin Chosun Seoul is offering the “Winter Romance Love Package” for couples until Feb. 28. The package comes in three types — Junior, Executive and Royal. Executive and Royal suites will be decorated with balloons and flowers; Royal suite guests will be further provided with a hotel restaurant dining voucher for 300,000 won and flower petals scattered on the bed in the shape of a heart. All package guests will receive wine, assorted chocolates from Laderach, a makeup pouch from Sisley’s Orchid collection, and flowers from the hotel’s flower boutique Kyukmul Gongboo.
