YG Entertainment, which recently became the nation’s top K-pop entertainment agency, is expanding its empire with its latest music endeavor ― a “YG Global K-pop Cluster” project.

On Thursday, YG officials revealed that the company would sign a YG Global K-pop Cluster establishment agreement with the city government of Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.

The agency is slated to build a large-scale concert stadium in the city as well as five other small concert venues, an Asian music experience center, a residential hotel for visitors, a recording studio, a fashion and beauty store and a vast lounge area where guests can experience both music and outdoor sporting actives.

The mega K-pop experience project will span across nearly 50,000 square meters of land and is expected to launch sometime in 2018.

YG Entertainment is home to some of K-pop’s biggest names including Psy, Big Bang, 2NE1, Epik High and Winner.
