Colleagues agreed for the late Lee Sun-kyun. Director Yeon Sang-ho even postponed the production presentation of his new movie.
Netflix’s new series “Sunsan,” written by Yeon Sang-ho, postponed the production presentation, which was originally scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. on the 12th, to 1 p.m.
In response, “Seonsan” said, “We ask for your understanding that the time of the event has changed since the statement of ‘the demands of cultural artists facing the death of the late actor Lee Sun-kyun’ was released.”
Earlier, it was announced as an event at 11 a.m., but the schedule was changed three days before the event. I hope the public’s attention will be paid to the statement.
At the time of the “Seonsan” production presentation, a press conference will be held at the Seoul Press Center to announce a statement titled “Demand of Cultural Artists in the Face of the Death of Actor Lee Sun-kyun.”
The Association of Cultural Artists, which hosts the press conference, said, “We agree that this should not be repeated again ahead of the unfortunate death of the late actor Lee Sun-kyun, who died on December 27, and we will urge investigative authorities to thoroughly investigate the truth, demand the deletion of articles that do not meet the purpose of the report, and revise the current law to protect the human rights of cultural artists.”
Director Bong Joon-ho, who worked with the deceased on the film Parasite, singer-songwriter Yoon Jong-shin, director Lee Won-tae, and actor Choi Deok-moon will attend the press conference.
