A list of officials involved in Jeffrey Epstein’s underage sex crimes will be released Wednesday afternoon, CNN reported.
According to CNN on the 3rd (local time), New York Federal Court Judge Loretta Preska ordered Epstein officials to disclose their real names in accordance with the decision of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2019.
A list of 200 people will be submitted later in the day, excluding two who have not been identified, according to Judge Fresca’s instructions.
The document is expected to include around 200 names, including Epstein’s accusers, prominent businessmen, politicians and potentially more.
So far, the only people identified are those named Jane Donna John Dora. Media reports have already revealed several people related to Epstein, and others have also been revealed in the 2021 trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, a close aide to Epstein who was convicted of prostitution and is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
CNN reports that the documents released may be explosive, but new details about Epstein’s activities could provide clues to further litigation.
Former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have reportedly been linked to millionaire investor and consultant Epstein, according to CNN, but no Epstein-related cases have been charged.
A spokesperson for Clinton confirmed in 2019 that the former president had boarded Epstein’s private jet, but Clinton said she knew nothing about the financier’s “terrible crimes.”
Trump told reporters he had barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, but did not explain why his relationship with Epstein ended.
He said he did not publicly explain why the friendship ended.
According to The New York Times, Microsoft founder Bill Gates has had several meetings with Epstein since 2011. Gates said in an interview that he regretted having dinner with Epstein to discuss his philanthropy. Gates’ actions were not subject to criticism.
Britain’s Prince Andrew reached an undisclosed agreement with Giuffre, known as Virginia Roberts, back in 2022, and Giuffre accused her of forcing her to engage in sexual activity as a minor. Andrew has denied the allegations, but has been deprived of his status as the Duke of York.
Epstein was an American billionaire financier who brought minors to his Virgin Islands to engage in sexual exploitation and sexual hospitality for those in power.
It is known that surveillance cameras (CCTVs) were installed throughout the island and threatened those in power who received sexual hospitality.
Later, he was arrested in 2017 due to allegations of judicial transactions and the influence of the Me Too movement at the time.
In 2019, allegations arose that he was found dead in prison the day after the court released some of the names of those involved and was killed disguised as suicide.
