BTS Jungkook’s “Standing Next to You” topped the U.S. Billboard’s “Digital Song Sales” chart for 3 consecutive weeks

BTS (BTS) Jungkook topped the U.S. Billboard chart for three consecutive weeks, shining a global popularity.

According to the latest chart (December 2) released by U.S. music media Billboard, the title track of Jungkook’s solo album “GOLDEN” (Golden) topped the digital song sales chart.

“Standing Next to You” was ranked No. 1 on the digital song sales chart for “three weeks in a row” and boasted the powerful long-run sound source power of staying at the top for three weeks as the best-selling song in the United States. Standing Next to You’ became the top 10 most downloaded songs in the U.S. this year with just three weeks to count.

Jungkook extended the record for the first and only Asian solo artist to top the digital song sales chart for weeks with several songs. Jungkook also set a milestone on the chart, topping the list for the longest time as a K-pop solo artist in 11 years since Psy’s “Gangnam Style” in 2012.

“Standing Next to You” ranked third and fifth on Billboard’s main charts, “Global (excluding the United States)” and “Global 200,” respectively, which rank streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions around the world, showing the power to enter the top five of the two charts for three consecutive weeks.

“Standing Next to You” ranked 42nd on the UK’s official single chart, the world’s two biggest charts, for three consecutive weeks.
