Strengthening the export capacity of Gyeongnam Technopark SMEs to Poland and Europe

  Gyongnam Technopark participated in the ‘International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO)’ held in Kielc, Poland from the 5th to the 8th.  The participation was jointly conducted by Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyungnam Technopark with the support of Gyeongsangnam-do, and introduced defense products to the Polish market with five companies with competitiveness in the defense sector in the province. Major participating companies youngpoong electronics, ACTUS, DONG SUNG ELECTRIC MACHINE, Chang Min Techron, and I-Spec held exhibitions and consultations, and had opportunities to expand the Polish Defense Network and find new buyers through meetings with local defense companies. Gyongnam Technopark signed a business agreement with Poland’s largest state defense company PGZ (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa) on defense cooperation to establish a defense cooperation system and cooperate for local technology cooperation of defense companies in the province. In addition, pre-matching buyers were found for participating companies, and through 1:1 export consultations, state/private sector defense companies such as the Polish Aviation Research Institute and WB Group were held to confirm the competitiveness of the Polish and European markets. In particular, ACTUS signed a business agreement with NEDUNSCO, a Dutch defense company in the optoelectronic sector, for technology partnerships and overseas exports to increase the possibility of future exports.  Gyongnam Technopark said, “Gyongnam Technopark operates the Gyongnam Defense Export Support Group with the support of Gyeongsangnam-do to strengthen the export competitiveness of small and medium-sized defense companies in Gyeongsangnam-do.”
