The Corona crisis is having a tremendous impact not only in the United States and Europe but also in Asia. The site of the outbreak was also Central Asia, which was the most closely influenced by it.
Perhaps this is why governments and organizations are rapidly changing from two groups to individualization systems in the living environment and economy, with appropriate responses. Since the beginning of 2021, Japan has had thousands of confirmed cases per day. In this environment, companies are also quickly transforming to accommodate changes in consumers. We would like to announce the current trend in Japan through Elematec, Nexty, the representative company of Toyota Group. In the case of Elematec, its main business is artificial intelligence, 5G communication, and parts related to electric vehicles. Since then, it has made sales with its new businesses such as OLED and large LCD TV and has been hit by decreased sales due to the Corona crisis.
So now I’m hoping to break through the new business that I mentioned above in line with the trend. Nexty was established in 1972 and operates 31 overseas branches. 80% of total sales are concentrated on automotive products, and 20% are claimed by ICT & INDUSTRIAL. (Jindai: head of overseas operations) However, in 2021, it is planning to develop new businesses with artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, healthcare, and FA (Factory Automation).
Through the two major Japanese companies, we can see how the company will change in the future. Japan has changed its prime minister last year and its system has changed, and the global event, the Summer Olympics, has been postponed until this year. As everyone knows, the world festival called the Olympics has enhanced the nation’s economy and national prestige so far.
It is an uncertain hosting and changing economy, but we can see that we are preparing for the future with this opportunity. The United States, Europe, and Asia are focusing on the future economy in difficult situations.
