Following K-Pop and K-Contents, “K-EV RECHARGER” has landed on the American continent.
Two idols of EV Chargers in fearless from Korea EV PARKING SERVICE CO., LTD. CEO Kim Jeong-Su and CMO/CTO Park Jong-Yeol visited the United States on May 26 and signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Wright Management Group, Inc. and Golden Loop Group, LLC. EV Parking is also expected to sign a contract with a Tribal Indian Government for the factory assembly, co-marketing and management of the charger units throughout the US.
EV Parking Service is a representative start-up that is attracting market attention with unprecedented services and platforms in the domestic electric vehicle charging market. At the center is CEO Kim JeongSu. CEO Kim is a marketing expert who worked at Sambo Computer, Celen, and G&ST. While serving as the CEO of a parking sharing service in Korea, he confirmed the potential of mobility-related businesses and founded an EV parking service.
EV Parking Service is an electric vehicle charging service and one-stop multiservice platform startup established in September 2021. It also runs parkingrelated businesses through a platform called ‘Walpak’. It’s been less than two years, but with the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market, the company’s presence is widely known in the market.
The core of the growth engine is ‘open platform’. If large corporations run their business in a way that subordinates the value chain with capital, EV Parking Service aims to become a popularized platform that anyone can participate in. CEO Kim said, “I started charger rental marketing by trawling pensions and small lodging facilities across the country, such as Gangneung, Gyeongju, Yeongdeok, etc.” In order to not step on it, I tried to create cash flow first.”
Currently, it is supplying charging systems to H outlets, department stores, and residential and commercial complexes. We are also collaborating with lodging sharing platforms. Recently, it is also expanding its solution rental business in the form of a rental service provider (ASP) for individuals or businesses who want to enter the charging business.
It means that operators will rent out so that they can install and operate on their own, and provide solutions in an open cloud method to create a ‘win-win’ structure for both parties. An ambitious project in this extension is the ‘EV Charging Franchise’ business.
This is the industry’s first attempt. CEO Kim said, “Since the beginning of this year, we have been running a franchise business that provides total solutions such as platform supply, installation, and operation so that even those without knowledge of the charging business can easily enter the market.
” Since there are no barriers, it is a structure that can be supplied from individual business owners to large-scale businesses.”
