Electric Vehicles Becoming Popular in the United States (IONIQ 5/EV6)

Tesla, the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer in the U.S., but HYUNDAI Motor’s electric vehicle IONIQ 5 and KIA EV6 are drawing more attention than Tesla’s electric vehicle there. Currently, Tesla is not the most interested electric vehicle in the U.S., and all eyes are on theHYUNDAIIONIQ 5 and KIA EV6.
It quietly dominates the market, and appreciated Hyundai’s rapid rise in sales and excellent quietness.

HYUNDAI Motor seems to be the ‘second Elon Musk’. The most electric vehicle is highly praised for being fromHYUNDAI Motor and KIA, and although sales are smaller than Tesla, it has excellent penetration into the market penetration.
According to an analysis of all electric vehicle sales except Tesla until May this year,HYUNDAI Motor (IONIQ 5) and KIA (EV6) sold 21,467 units, surpassing the second-largest Ford Mustang Mach E, which sold 15,000 units. “It took Elon Musk nearly 10 years to manufacture and sellHYUNDAI Motor-level cars,” he said. “HYUNDAI Group accomplished this in a few months.” Local dealers and experts in the U.S. analyzed thatHYUNDAI’s strategy of releasing subcompact SUV electric cars worked in the U.S. market. While electric cars of other automakers such as Bolt of General Motors and Nissan’s Leaf are concentrated on small and medium-sized models, Tesla is targeting sedans-oriented markets.
On the other hand,HYUNDAI Motor succeeded in targeting consumers’ tastes by penetrating the SUV market in a timely manner, where there were no suitable electric cars.
According to a survey by Kia’s U.S. corporation, about three out of four EV6 buyers have previously owned other brands of cars. Analysts say that consumers who drove other brands of cars have changed to KIA’s model.
HYUNDAI Motor Group, which received rave reviews from local media, previously proposed a goal of achieving 12% of global electric vehicle market share by selling 3.07 million electric vehicles underHYUNDAI Motor, KIA, and Genesis brands by 2030. To that end, it plans to spend more than 123.5 trillion dollars by 2030.

HYUNDAI Motor Group plans to secure a leading position in the global electric vehicle market by increasing the number of electric vehicle models to 31 by introducing additional electric vehicle platform eM for passenger and purpose-based mobility (PBV) in 2025.
