We have a lot of interests in digital healthcare and are using many applications on smartwatches such as Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch. Of course, it is highly utilized by various applications and allows us to check my current condition by entering existing measurements such as walking, caloric calculation, and blood pressure. Healthcare shows a slight lack and a function of one’s condition by any standard. Obviously, it is an important part, but we are more professional and question the accuracy of the indicators or figures that are measured on some basis.
I’d like to remind you of the products of the Infomining Co., Ltd that I’ve already introduced several times. The company consists of professional medical engineering and software/hardware researchers, who are commissioned by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to develop and manage solutions for coronavirus detection and movement management in Korea, the world’s most well-managed disinfection management solution. In addition, university hospitals (including Samsung Medical Corporation and Korea University Hospital) are piloting and testing telemedicine through smart wearable watches developed by Infomining. The wearable smartwatch boasts more than 95% accuracy in blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG), body temperature, blood glucose, oxygen saturation, and pulse, compared to general hospital devices. It has already been developed as the best existing product. I am especially proud that its accuracy of calculating one’s ECG is comparable to expensive devices. The measurement method is based on biorhythmic, or blood flow and pressure. The smartwatch was introduced to Japanese companies: Mitsubishi Electric and Carecom, Maxel, Casio, and NTT-DATA are interested in purchasing development requests, devices and solutions through its Toyota subsidiary, Elematec. In addition, the health division of a large Korean pharmaceutical company has already completed and reviewed the contract to invest about $10 million to introduce and supply the company.
I think it has been verified to this extent, and now it is being mass-produced after receiving a request from a Korean government office (Seoul City) to purchase a smartwatch. It is currently developing new products by changing design to early products.
